Đảo Phú Quốc nằm trong vịnh Thái Lan và có nhiều bãi biển nổi tiếng như Bãi Dài, nơi bạn có thể ngắm hoàng hôn tuyệt đẹp, và Bãi Sao nổi tiếng với bãi biển cát trắng và nước màu ngọc lam. Mùa khô từ tháng 11 đến tháng 4 là thời điểm lý tưởng để du khách trải nghiệm bơi lội, lặn biển và khám phá các hòn đảo xung quanh.

Khoảng hơn chục năm trở lại đây, đảo Phú Quốc thu hút lượng đầu tư du lịch lớn với hàng loạt dự án quy mô lớn mọc lên như Sunset Town, Phú Quốc World cùng nhiều khu nghỉ dưỡng cao cấp. Cáp treo Koh Tao cũng được nhắc đến như một trong những điểm nhấn, mang đến tầm nhìn toàn cảnh Vịnh Thái Lan. Tuy phát triển trong thời kỳ hiện đại nhưng đảo Phú Quốc vẫn giữ được nhiều đặc điểm thủ công truyền thống, trong đó có hải sản thơm ngon, sản xuất nước mắm và trồng tiêu nổi tiếng.
